Baltic Harvest Fest 5K. Join area runners and compete for the gold medal in our 2nd Annual 5k race! Pre-race registration begins at 8:00 and the race starts at 9:00. More details here.
2nd Annual Baking contest – Have a blue-ribbon worthy recipe? Make any baked good that includes our featured ingredient, pumpkin, and see how your recipe stacks up to other entrants. Drop off your baked goods at the park pavilion between 1:00 and 2:00. Winners announced at 3:00 p.m.
Pumpkin Carving contest from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Baltic Park Pavilion. Pumpkins and safety carving utensils will be provided. Bring a parent and your creativity. Carved pumpkins will be judged and the winners announced at after 3:00 p.m. Open to the first 50 entrants.
Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest (time to be determined). Calling all speed eaters!!! Compete with other attendees to see who can down an entire pumpkin pie the fastest! Age groups for children and adults.
Tours of the Age of Steam Roundhouse (11:00, 12:45, and 2:45 p.m.) – ride a bus from the Baltic Harvest Fest to the Age of Steam Roundhouse. Get a guided tour of this amazing facility, then get bussed back to the Harvest Fest. Tickets are $20.00, and may be purchased ahead of time at Baltic State Bank in Baltic or Sugarcreek, or Gerber’s & Sons Retail Store in Baltic.
In addition, these events and activities will last all day:
Inflatable rides – enjoy a slide, bounce house and 70′ obstacle course!
Hayrides from Baltic Country Meats to downtown Baltic (Fox’s Pizza).
The Baltic Historical Society will be at the community museum, located in the basement of Baltic State Bank, from 1-4 p.m.
